ITINARY
Arrive at Cape Canaveral [2] on December 30th where you will be welcomed by our dedicated team who will prepare you for your adventure. [3]
Blast off is 0500 on New Years Eve. Marvel as you race upwards through the clouds [4] and watch in wonder as the countries of the world shrink as you speed into space. [5] Meet Captain Galac, the amiable pilot who will also be your guide [6] for the duration of the flight. On the second day, there will be a Spacewalk, [7] followed by a live broadcast of Radio Earthquake, leading up to a live performance of Submarine Symphony starting at the twelfth chime of Big Ben. [8] New Years Day will feature a landing and the first Moon Concert, [9] and the exclusive live release of Seismic Secret’s new single “Around the world in 80 seconds.”
Join the Shuttle Captain for a meal [10] on the leisurely return trip and prepare for the ride of your life as the Shuttle cruises through the atmosphere at eight thousand miles an hour to land safely [11] back in Florida. [12] During the flight you may wish to purchase some souvenirs and band memorabilia which will be certainly worth a lot of money back on Earth in years to come. [13] Pose for a final photograph [14] on the tarmac of Cape Canaveral [15] – smile – you’ve had the trip of a lifetime.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions
“Concert Package Ticket” includes Space Shuttle Flight, Food for duration of trip and use of basic facilities – toilet, handwashing, seat in cargo hold, earphones to hear concert. All safety equipment provided. Beverages are not included and must be purchased in flight, or bought on in hand luggage.
“Passenger” does not include band members of Seismic Secret or crew of the shuttle.
Legal Obligations
Purchase of a “Concert Package Ticket” enters the buyer into binding contract to be subject to these terms and conditions.
In the event of a situation that prevents the Space Shuttle launching at the appointed time, the launch will be postponed until the next earliest convenient date. Passengers will not be refunded, but may choose to wait for the next launch window at their own expense. Cape Canaveral offers basic runway accommodation in these instances for a surcharge of £150 per 24 hour period.
Due to the nature of security, Shuttle launches may be altered without notice, and passengers staying away from the runway accommodation facility may not be notified of impending departure. In this case, no refund will be given.
Any loss of property, injury, or death shall be entirely at the risk of the passenger and their insurers.
Notes from brochure text
[1] Passengers should note that they will not be travelling in the same compartment as band members.
[2] Price of concert package ticket does not include transportation to Florida, or any expenses incurred as a result of space agency surcharges or spaceflight tax.
[3] All passengers on the Space Shuttle will be subject to a full medical by independent space agency scientists who will determine whether or not that person is fit to travel. Failing to pass the medical tests will result in space travel being prohibited without recourse to a refund.
[4] Weather may not be cloudy on the day of launch.
[5] Window seats carry a £1,000 surcharge
[6] Once lift off has commenced, the Captain’s word is law, and passengers are subject to his mercy.
[7] “Spacewalk” does not imply a leisure activity, and will be subject to requirement of planned maintenance work as determined by the Captain of the Shuttle. Passengers will be expected to undertake work whilst on the passage.
[8] Actual start time of concert may vary due to atmospheric conditions of Moon on that day.
[9] “Moon Concert” does not imply that an actual concert will take place on the Moon. If landing is deemed to be an unsafe action due to solar wind, gamma radiation or failure of the Shuttle’s landing gear, the concert may be held in the main cargo hold of the shuttle whilst is space.
[10] Dehydrated in - flight meal replacement tablets will be provided throughout the flight free of charge. A surcharge of £100 per litre will be made to passengers wishing to purchase water. Please note that the Captain may choose not to dine with passengers in event of having to pilot the Shuttle.
[11] Individual Travel Insurance is recommended to specifically cover harmful effects of Solar Radiation, alien abduction, collision with other spacecraft/debris, miscalculation of re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere, failure to recover space vehicle/passengers in event of splashdown, injury or death occurring from punishment administered by Shuttle Captain.
[12] Landing site may vary.
[13] Any items purchased whilst on board are immediately recorded as the property of the passenger on the Shuttle manifest and are subject to luggage surcharge if above the permitted weight per passenger. All items that can be purchased on the shuttle, including water bottles, have a known weight and this will be added to the luggage weight allocation, as measured in Earth’s atmosphere, not in orbit. Spaceflight tax at the rate of 900% value of item is payable at the customs channel on return to Florida mainland, regardless where the shuttle lands, and whether purchases are intact or not. Loss of purchases for any reason will not exempt the passenger from paying the luggage surcharge or Spaceflight tax. There will be a luggage surcharge of £100 per kilogramme over a hand luggage allowance of 2 kilogrammes per person.
[14] Photographs are not include in the concert package ticket price, and will be charged at £300 per frame. Images may be used by Seismic Secret Fan Club for promotional purposes with no recourse to those featured in the photographs.
[15] Should the shuttle not land in Cape Canaveral, but in the open ocean, passengers should note that individual possessions are subject to Salvage rights.
